Police: Men rob liquor store, flee in car stolen from employee

BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WCTV) -- Bainbridge Public Safety is looking for two men accused of robbing a liquor store at gunpoint.

Officers were dispatched to the Port One Liquors at 504 Albany Road just before 12:00 p.m. on August 10 in reference to an armed robbery.

Two employees were working at the time of the alleged robbery. They told officers two black males wearing ski masks entered the store and brandished guns.

The men reportedly took a large amount of cash and the keys to one of the employee’s vehicles. Police say the car was found abandoned a short distance from the store.

No customers were in the store at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported.

A reward is being offered to anyone who has information that leads to the arrests of the two suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Chief Investigator Larry Funderburke at 229-248-2038.
