COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Florida Highway Patrol is posting a motorist advisory after a prescribed burn was conducted in the Osceola National Forest.
The burn covered 650 acres of the Osceola National Forest. FHP is advising motorists who are traveling near the I-75, I-10 exchange to use caution because visibility may decrease during the early morning and evening hours.
Motorists are reminded to reduce their speed and use their low-beam headlights in order to cope with changing weather conditions. Smoke from the burn may be present over the next several days.
