TALLAHASSEE, Fla (WCTV) -- More than 100 companies and organizations showed up to the Florida A&M University campus recruiting students, hoping some of them will become future employees.
FAMU officials say the job market is evolving with plenty of entry level jobs. Even the university alumni is helping recruit, hoping to entice fellow Rattlers to stay in the community after graduation.
"FAMU Alumni take huge pride in their organization, in this University and to come back to the University and to be able to attract the talent and know where they came from and how they got here, they really want to give back in all shapes forms and fashions," said Career Center Director Shereada Harrell.
FAMU says, on a daily basis, its marketing system has on average about 1,000 jobs and internships available for students.
