TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Tallahassee Senior Center, in partnership with the City of Tallahassee’s Parks Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs (PRNA) is hosting the eighth annual Capital City Senior Games.
The Senior Games, for seniors 50 and older, will take place March 4-13.
The competitions are for all fitness levels and will include archery, bag toss, basketball, bowling, cycling, golf, horseshoes, pickleball, powerlifting, swimming, table tennis, tennis, track and field, and a one-mile run/walk.
Seniors who qualify in the Capital City Senior Games will have a chance to compete in the Florida Senior Games State Championship and the National Senior Games.
Registration for the Capital City Senior Games begins at $15 for one event and $3 for each additional event. The last day to register is Feb. 24 at 5 p.m. You can register online at Talgov.com/Seniors, in person or by mail. You can drop off registration forms at the Tallahassee Senior Center at 1400 N. Monroe Street, or at the PRNA Office at 912 Myers Park Drive.
