TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Florida State pitcher Kyle McMullen will undergo surgery to repair his labrum, ending his 2019 before it begins, according to Kendall Rogers of D1Baseball.com.

McMullen is a newcomer to the Seminoles program after going 2-1 with a 2.66 ERA in 14 appearances last year with Palm Beach State College.
FSU opens their 2019 campaign, the final under Mike Martin, on Friday against Maine.
