Quincy Police looking for suspect in armed robbery, shooting

QUINCY, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Quincy Police Department is looking for a suspect in an armed robbery and shooting that sent one person to the hospital.
At 11 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a report of someone being shot in the 700 block of W. Washington Street.
Police found two robbery victims at the scene, one suffering a gunshot wound to the face. The shooting victim was taken to the hospital and later released.
The victims told police that they had been in their yard talking when they were approached by a man with a gun. The suspect demanded money and when the victims were unable to give him anything, he opened fire, striking one of the victims in the face.
Police searched the area for the suspect but he was not located.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 5’10” tall, with a thin build with a thin face. The suspect was last seen wearing all dark clothing and a dark cap or hoodie.
