THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WCTV) -- Thomas County Central head football coach Bill Shaver has been relieved of his duties after 10 years at the helm of the program.
Shaver, who went 74-40 in his 10 years with the Yellow Jackets, will remain a member of the school's staff as a teacher.
The Yellow Jackets won the region title under Shaver last year, and the 2017 campaign marked the first season he didn't log a winning season.
When asked about what's next for him, Shaver simply replied, "The Lord has a plan for me."
