TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The last remaining Red Cross shelter in Tallahassee following Hurricane Irma moving through the area has now closed.

Northwoods Baptist Church closed on Friday morning.

Red Cross Executive Director Sharon Tyler says there were about 20 people staying at the shelter on Thursday night.

Most families are headed back home today, but we're told three families are staying at homeless shelters or hotels in Tallahassee.

Tyler says the Red Cross shelter in Suwannee County remains open.
