TALLAHASSEE, Fla (WCTV) -- The remaining dolls from the Handle Me With Care Foundation were donated to the group Rebel Ubuntu. The student run organization stands for a South African proverb that translates to humanism.

Rebel Ubuntu set up a Christmas dinner and gave away toys and clothes to people at the Springfield Community Center. Organizers said they wanted to go right to the communities where help is needed.

"What we have to do as people, is we have to stop taking," said Cameron Montgomery. "We have to stop taking people's time, taking their attention, taking opportunities from people. We have to give and so Christmas is about giving, it's about love and all we want to do is love people."

The group says they served about 80 people on Monday. This is the second year they have hosted the event. Last year, they had a Christmas celebration on Texas Street.
