TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- An arrest has been made in a shooting near the area of Wallis and Calhoun Streets earlier this month.
The March 1 shooting sent one person to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. Police say the victim's injuries were non-life threatening.
On March 17, officers were investigating a hit-and-run crash near Eisenhower Street and Villamore Avenue where two people had abandoned their vehicle and fled on foot.
After a perimeter was set up, one of the suspects, 24-year-old Tamarick Barns, was detained near Villamore Avenue and Dale Street and brought in for questioning. Police later connected him to the Wallis Street shooting.
Barns was booked into the Leon County Detention Facility on charges of armed robbery and attempted murder.
