TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Tallahassee Fire Department is continuing to investigate what caused a fire that destroyed a mobile home Monday night.
The fire broke out around 10 p.m. in the 9200 block of Courtney Lane.
At the scene, crews found a double-wide mobile home with heavy flames showing. TFD says about 50 percent of the home was engulfed when crews arrived.
No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
TFD says the home is a complete loss with damage estimated at $50,000.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Leon County EMS, Woodville Volunteers, city utilities and the Leon County Sheriff's Office assisted TFD at the scene.
