Tallahassee Police asking for information in deadly hit-and-run

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Tallahassee Police Department is asking for the public's help with information regarding a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian dead.

The crash happened on February 9 near the intersection of West Pensacola Street and Cactus Street.

Police say a vehicle struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene. The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital but later died from their injuries.

TPD says investigators with the Traffic Homicide Unit have been working to find both the suspect and the vehicle involved, but no arrests have been made at this time.
