TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- A pair of brothers has been arrested on battery charges, accused of attacking their sister's boyfriend.

Marcus Fullard, 29, and Darcolby Miller, 27, were taken into custody Sunday.

According to arrest documents, the victim told police he was at his home on the evening of December 16 when Fullard, Miller, and a third suspect invited him to come outside to hang out.

The victim said Fullard and Miller confronted him about slapping their sister, the victim's girlfriend. The victim told police Fullard and Miller punched him in the head and choked him after he fell to the ground.

The victim said the third suspect, later identified as his girlfriend's cousin, kicked him in the head while he was on the ground.

The arrest report states that the fight was eventually broken up by other residents in the area and the three suspects fled the scene.

Fullard has been charged with felony battery for a second or subsequent offense. He was found guilty for a battery offense in Broward County, Florida in 2013.

Miller is facing battery charges.

The third suspect has not been identified by police.
