Tallahassee pastor facing charges of fraud, grand theft

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- A Tallahassee pastor is under arrest after allegedly stealing money from two parishioners.

Julien Bobbie Williams was arrested Friday on charges of grand theft and fraud. Williams is the pastor at Abundant Living Faith Ministries.

According to court documents, Williams befriended two businessmen and agreed to help them manage their business. At the time, both men attended Abundant Living.

Williams was given a signature stamp for day-to-day operations, including payroll and building a retirement nest egg for the two. Williams is accused of falsifying documents to gain control of their bank accounts, writing and signing checks without permission and withdrawing money.

He is facing charges of grand theft of more than $20,000, fraud- swindle to obtain property over $20,000, fraud- swindle to defraud a financial institution, fraud- attempt to use the ID of another person without consent.
