Thomasville’s Archbold Memorial Hospital coronavirus cases up to four

THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WCTV) -- Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville says they have four total confirmed cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus, as of Monday afternoon.

Archbold originally announced their first confirmed cases, the first in Thomas County, on Sunday.

AMH says they've also received 28 negative results from patients, while 10 patients are awaiting results.

AMH adds that, beginning Monday, they are temporarily suspending visitation at all Archbold facilities, with limited exceptions. The hospital will also not allow visitation of any patient who tests positive for COVID-19.

THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WCTV) – Two people currently hospitalized at Archbold Memorial Hospital tested positive for COVID-19, according to a news release from the medical center.

The hospital isn’t revealing any other details about the patients, but they are the first confirmed cases in Thomas County. Archbold recently set up drive-thru testing capabilities.
