Threat at Leon High School deemed not-credible

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Leon County Schools confirms a threat made towards Leon High School is not credible.

According to an LCS spokesperson, a threatening message was found written on a wall in one of the boy's bathrooms at the high school. The school district has not released any details on the nature of the threat.

Law enforcement and school administrators investigated Tuesday and determined the threat was not credible.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office will provide extra security at the school on Wednesday as a safety precaution.
