Tractor trailer catches fire in I-10 rest area

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WCTV) --

According to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol, Christopher Allen, 33 heard unusual sounds coming from his semi truck while traveling on I-10 eastbound. Allen pulled into the I-10 rest area near mile marker 194 to investigate.

Once Allen exited the cab, he found his truck already on fire.

No injuries were reported with the incident.

A tractor trailer has caught fire near the 194 mile marker on Interstate 10 Eastbound.

According to a Facebook post from the Tallahassee Fire Department, fire stations eight and ten along with tanker one are on the scene.

So far, no injuries have been reported.
