HAMILTON COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – A man is facing felony charges after he was pulled over in Hamilton County and troopers found equipment for a marijuana grow house in his truck.

Around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, a trooper with the Florida Highway Patrol stopped a Penske rental truck on State Road 93 at mile marker 462 for a traffic violation.

The trooper says as he was speaking with the driver, later identified as 41-year-old Tony Goodwin, Goodwin became "extremely nervous." A K-9 then walked around the truck and gave a positive alert for the odor of drugs.

A search of the cab of the truck revealed a vape pen with marijuana residue and a marijuana pipe. According to FHP, troopers also uncovered an entire marijuana grow house operation in the back of the truck, including 45 large grow lights, water piping, large grow trays, dehumidifiers and electrical wiring.

Goodwin was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail. He has been charged with possession of drug equipment and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
