TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Every day, the memories of Wolrd War II are fading; including the men and women who served.

But on Wednesday, a piece of history came to Tallahassee to meet Governor Rick Scott.

WWII veteran, 99-year-old Sidney Walton, to this day, regrets not being able to meet any Civil War veterans. So to make up for it, he decided to go on a 'No Regrets Tour' to meet all of the state governors.

He's also making himself available so people can meet a World War II veteran before they're gone.

Gov. Scott gave him a medal for his service.

Walton's been to 11 states already, and will be in Tallahassee until Saturday.

The tour started back in April and will end on February 11, Walton's 100th birthday, at the White House.
