Wakulla County closes Shell Point and Mashes Sands beaches, offices to public

WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) — Wakulla County says it has closed Shell Point and Mashes Sands beaches to the public until further notice. This goes into effect at sunset Monday.

The county also said it has closed its Board of County Commissioners offices to the public. The offices will continue to be staffed and will help people via phone.

All county commission meetings have been canceled until further notice, the county said.

Additionally, all library programs have been canceled until further notice. The library itself is closed, but is allowing curbside pickup.

The county also said all recreation programs at Medart Recreation Park have been canceled until further notice.

Finally, all county parks will stay open to the public at this time, the county said.
