TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Several roads in Tallahassee are closed Monday morning because of flooding.
Weems Road has been closed due to flooding, the City of Tallahassee confirms. Officials are encouraging drivers to use Mahan and Easterwood Drives as detour routes.
Portions of Meridian Road immediately north and south of Timberlane Road are also underwater.
The city is reminding people to not drive through floodwaters or around barricades, as it only takes a small amount of moving water to float a vehicle.
