Apple and Brie Hand Pies


2 prepared Publix rich & flaky rolled pie crusts
2 Honey Crisp apples, quarter, deseed and cut into ¼” wedges
12 oz brie, cut into 1 oz slices
8 oz honey
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup turbinado sugar


Makes 6 Pies

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Unroll dough. Cut out 6 (2-inch) circles from each crust. Place apple slices and brie in center of each dough round; drizzle with honey.

Brush dough edges with egg wash. Place a second circle on top; seal edges by pressing the edges with the tines of a fork. Place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper; brush tops with remaining egg wash and sprinkle with turbinado sugar.

Bake 20-25 minutes or until the pastry becomes golden brown and has cooked through. Cool slightly before serving.
