Caribbean Shrimp Spread


Yield About 1 Cup

4 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
1 C. Shrimp, peeled, de-veined and tails off
1/4 C. Mango Puree or Mango Jam
1 tsp. Caribbean Seasoning (Jerk Seasoning)
1 Clove Garlic, minced
1 Jalapeno, minced and seeded
1/2 C. Fresh Cilantro
1/4 C. Lime Juice
1/3 C. Red Onion, minced
Salt & Pepper to taste
Toasted Baguette Slices or Crackers, for serving


1. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together cream cheese, shrimp, jam, seasoning, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice, red onion and garlic until well combined, or place in a food processor and process several times until just combined. Add salt and pepper to taste.

2. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

3. Toast baguette slices at 350F for 5-7 minutes after drizzling with olive oil until crisp and golden brown.
