Easy Oatmeal Bars


1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup honey
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. allspice
3 cups quick cook oats
1/2 cup craisins*
1/2 cup walnuts*
1/2 cup cinnamon chips*

*Craisins, walnuts, and cinnamon chips can be substituted for chocolate chips, pecans, coconut, etc. Possibilities are endless. As well as vanilla flavoring and allspice. These items could be replaced with other spices or flavorings. Make the recipe your own.


Preheat oven to 400°

Melt butter, add all ingredients, mix well. Spread and press mixture into a parchment paper lined 8" square pan (if you do not have parchment paper, grease pan prior to spreading mixture in). Bake 20-25 minutes or just until golden brown. Let cool completely, cut into bars, and serve.
