1c unsalted butter at room temperature
1c firmly packed light brown sugar
½ c granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 ½ c all-purpose flour
2c rolled oats
1c milk chocolate chips
1c semi-sweet chocolate chips
DirectionsPreheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan with baking spray and line with parchment paper. Let the parchment paper hang over the sides.
In the bowl of an electric mixer with a paddle attachment, beat the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until well mixed, about 3 minutes. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add the vanilla extract.
Remove the bowl from the electric mixer and fold in the salt, baking soda, baking powder, flour, rolled oats, and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Spread half the mixture into the prepared baking pan. Pour milk chocolate chips on top of mixture. Carefully press remaining cookie mixture on top of chocolate.
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 24-30 minutes. Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before cutting into bars.
