Strawberry Banana Shortcake Trifle


2lb fresh strawberries
4 ripe bananas, chopped
Vanilla cake
1 tub of heavy whipped cream
Strawberry banana sauce
-2 cups strawberries, purred
-1 cup sugar
-1 chopped banana
-2 tablespoons of vanilla

3 cups (390g) all purpose flour
1 tbp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups (336g) unsalted butter, room temp
2 cups (414g) sugar
4 egg whites
3 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups


Step 1: Bake Cake on 350 and let cool
Step 2: Slice fruit and set aside
Step 3: Make Strawberry Banana sauces
Cup Strawberry, 1 Banana, 1 cup sugar and tbsp vanilla
blend until smooth
Step 4: Cut cooled cake into chunks
Step 5: Place Cake in bowl, then add fruit, sauce and whipped cream in layers
Step 6: Refrigerate and serve cool
