Tomato Pie


4 tomatoes, sliced
1 9-inch-deep dish pie shell
1 c Mexican cheese
1/2 c sour cream
3 Tbsp taco sauce
2 lbs. ground beef or turkey (optional)


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake the pie shell until brown.

Stir together sour cream and taco sauce, spread in cool pie shell. Add meat (optional) and sprinkle cheese on top.

Place in oven until cheese is melted.

Remove from oven. Cool slightly. Serve warm.
