Twisted French Toast


Vegetable oil, for frying
4 eggs
1/2 cup half & half
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons organic raw sugar
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon Saigon cinnamon
Pinch of salt
6 slices of bread


Thoroughly whisk the eggs, cream, orange juice, sugar, extract, cinnamon and salt in a bowl. Heat up a large sauté pan to medium heat with vegetable oil.

Place the bread in the bowl and allow it to soak on each side.

Place the bread in the pan until browned on the first side. Flip and brown the other side.

Sprinkle powdered sugar on the bread, garnish with fresh fruit and serve with maple syrup. Enjoy!
