TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Brian Burns is the lone Seminole projected to be drafted in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, according to the latest CBS Sports mock draft from R.J. White.
White sees Burns going to the Green Bay Packers with the 30th pick of the draft, who received the pick from the New Orleans Saints in last year's trade. In his write up, White says,
"There's no question what you bring Burns in to do: get after the quarterback. He's an ideal fit for a 3-4 team at his size, but his explosiveness will make him difficult to handle for all but the most athletic of offensive tackles. "
Compared to his first mock draft earlier this month, White has seen Burns slide from #19 to Tennessee.
As for what each local NFL team will do, according to White, see below.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (pick 5) - Clelin Ferrell, Clemson edge rusher
White says Ferrell would give the Bucs an "excellent run defender."
Jacksonville Jaguars (pick 7) - Dwayne Haskins, Ohio State quarterback
White said this in his first mock draft of the year as well, this time saying Haskins could be ready to take the reigns of an NFL team as a rookie.
Miami Dolphins (pick 13) - Ed Oliver, Houston defensive tackle
White says Oliver should be the best player available at this point and will signal one of their first moves of their rebuild.
Atlanta Falcons (pick 14) - Greedy Williams, LSU cornerback
Originally mocked to go to the Bucs with the fifth pick in White's first mock of the year, but the logic is the same for the Falcons: While talented, the Dirty Birds aren't deep in the defensive back corps and Williams could change that.
The 2019 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 25.
