TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- On Thursday, Florida State unveiled their 2019 baseball schedule for what is the 40th, and final, campaign under the leadership of head coach Mike Martin.
The Seminoles open the 2018 campaign with a four-game series against the Maine Blackbears with a scheduled Saturday doubleheader to begin at 12 p.m.
In the first month of the year, the Noles will not leave the Sunshine State but will take trips to take on Jacksonville (Feb. 19), South Florida (Feb. 26) and Florida (March 12).
15 of the first 17 contests for FSU will be played at Dick Howser Stadium before the Noles hit the road for a stretch of eight of 10 being played away from Tallahassee (March 12-March 26).
FSU's non-conference schedule includes the aforementioned Blackbears, Dolphins (who come to Dick Howser on April 2), Bulls and Gators (who'll make their return trip to Tallahassee on April 9) along with Youngstown State (Feb. 22-24), Mercer (March 1-3), North Florida (March 6) UCF (March 19), FIU (March 20), Stetson (April 23-24 in Tallahassee, May 8 in DeLand) and Richmond (May 10-12).
For ACC play, the Noles will host Virginia Tech (March 8-10), Boston College (March 29-31), Clemson (April 12-14), Wake Forest (April 26-28) and Pitt (May 3-5).
Florida State will take on NC State (March 15-17), Notre Dame (March 22-24), Miami (April 5-7), Virginia (April 18-20) and Louisville (May 16-19) on the road.
