TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Florida State has announced the hiring of Randy Clements as the Seminoles' new offensive line coach.

Clements comes to FSU from Houston and joins new FSU offensive coordinator Kendal Briles.

With the Cougars a season ago, Clements was the leader of an offensive line that started the same combination in 12 of their 13 games.

Previous coaching stints for Clements include Southeastern University (offensive line coach) and Baylor (run game coordinator, offensive line coach and co-offensive coordinator).

“My family and I are thrilled to be part of this prestigious program. My background with Kendal will be valuable, but I’m also looking forward to integrating with the rest of the staff and can’t wait to get to know and work with the student-athletes on campus. I am excited to work toward our goal of bringing Florida State its next championship,” Clements said.
