TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) — It’s do or die for Florida State who welcome in arch rival Florida to Doak Campbell Stadium as the Seminoles need a win to keep their season alive and extend their bowl streak.

FSU has won five games over UF in a row and have taken seven of the last eight in the series.

Below will be running live blog of the game along with real time analysis. For up to the minute updates, be sure to follow WCTV Sports and myself on Twitter.

FINAL: UF 41 - FSU 14

Florida snaps their five-game losing streak and ends the Noles 37-year bowl streak. The Gators add a garbage time touchdown to win this year's Sunshine Showdown.

Full gamer is coming soon. Again, thanks for spending today, and the season, with us.

4th Quarter, 10:50 - UF 34 - FSU 14

Preparing to go down to the field where service is spotty. I'll try to tweet if possible but the analysis on here, for the most part, is done.

We'll have our post game recap as soon as possible as well on the site. Thanks for joining me today and, by the looks of it, this season. It's been...a ride.

4th Quarter, 14:53 - UF 34 - FSU 14

The first play of the fourth quarter might just be the dagger, as Franks connects with Van Jefferson for a 38-yard touchdown.

Noles need some offense and fast.

You want a good bar of how the game has gone today? The Gators have doubled FSU's yardage output, 411-208, through three quarters.

FSU has committed nine penalties for 55 yards (the Gators have committed seven for 49).

The teams have combined to go 5-22 on third down.

Anyway, we're officially in the danger zone - 15 minutes potentially remain in FSU's season.

3rd Quarter, 4:16 - UF 27 - FSU 14

Deondre Francois has taken this game into his hands, accounting for the final 34 yards of the Noles' seven-play, 75-yard scoring drive.

Francois was looking for a receiver and continued to step up in the pocket until he passed the line of scrimmage and tucked an ran for a 32-yard pick up, setting the Noles at the two yardline.

On the next play, he again failed to find a receiver but ran it in for the touchdown.

Folks, it's not over yet.

3rd Quarter, 6:20 - UF 27 - FSU 7

I don't want to call it game, The Gators strip Francois as he was preparing to throw and recover, leading to a 22-yard touchdown pass from Franks to Trevon Grimes to give the Gators a 20-point advantage.

The Gators have 369 yards of offense to the Noles' 133.

FSU's two second half possessions have ended in a punt and a turnover. Running out of time to make something happen, FSU is.

3rd Quarter, 10:53 - UF 20 - FSU 7

Florida takes the opening drive of the second half 75 yards on 12 plays for a three-yard touchdown reception by Josh Hammond. UF used a lot of their rushing attack, led by Perine and Franks, to get down the field.

FSU's first possession of the half is imminent.

A sloppy first quarter gave way for an entertaining second quarter.

2nd Quarter, 5:25 - UF 13 - FSU 7

You wanted offense? Florida State has your offense.

The Noles rattle off eight plays and go 75 yards in 2:10, thanks to pickups of 14, 25 and 15 yards to three different receivers, the final of which was a touchdown reception from Cam Akers who showed off his acrobatics to keep his balance and the ball off the ground.

The defense has showed up for the most part today and if the offense can keep that up, the Noles will be in good shape.

2nd Quarter, 7:35 - UF 13 - FSU 0

The Gators are up two scores, but it really should only be one.

On the ensuing drive after Florida's touchdown, Deondre Francois found Cam Akers for a wide open touchdown but an illegal shift penalty called it back.

The Noles went three and out, giving the ball back to the Gators who drove 57 yards but stalled in the red zone and settled for a field goal.

The Noles' last two offensive series have gone for zero yards.

2nd Quarter, 13:24 - UF 10 - FSU 0

"Game on." - Florida

Off of forcing a three-and-out on defense, the Gators are set up at their own 26 and Lamical Perine takes the ball 74 yards to the house for the game's first touchdown.

The Noles, who have 39 yards of offense in the first 20 minutes of the game, need something to go their way and quick.

On the final play of the quarter, the Gators hit a 27-yard field goal to score the game's first points.

Gators with 103 total yards of offense to the Noles' 29.

FSU has shown glimpses of offense but for no longer than three or four plays at a time.

1st Quarter, 3:47 - UF 0 - FSU 0

A very sloppy game to start this one in what has been a fast-moving first quarter.

This stat sums up the start to this one: The Noles have committed four penalties for 28 yards. The Noles have run 14 plays from scrimmage and have totaled 29 yards of offense.

Just that kind of afternoon in the early going.

1st Quarter, 7:31 - UF 0 - FSU 0

The Gators drove 34 yards down the the Noles two yardline and on a Franks keeper, FSU keeps him out of the endzone, though not for a lack of trying - he bounced off about four different defenders before being brought down.

Field position is not in FSU's favor, as they'll start at their own two.

Well, here we are folks. Potentially the last time the Noles will take the field in 2018. And it's against Florida. It's my time being at this game so I'm excited.

FSU won the coin toss and will receive. Lets do this.
