TALLAHASSEE, Fla.(WCTV) -- The Florida State Seminoles are well rested coming off their bye week with their attention turned to Wake Forest.

A win on Saturday would get the second half of the season on a right foot while a loss could mean FSU is in jeopardy of losing their bowl streak.

But, the team's confidence is high and Keith Gavin says he believes this weekend will be a chance to prove what the Noles are made of.

"I think everybody got their energy back, everybody is ready to practice again," Gavin said on Wednesday. "Get back in the groove and get ready to beat Wake Forest. It's going to be a real big win for us.

"We've got to beat Wake Forest, to get our momentum back. A lot of people are doubting us right now but I think we're going to override everybody and come back victorious," Gavin continued.

The Noles and Deacons are slated to kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
