TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- For Florida State basketball, the upcoming 2018/19 season might be the most anticipated in two decades.

Coming off a trip to the Elite Eight, Leonard Hamilton's squad is reloaded for 2018.

Last year's tournament run was special but Hamilton says his team knows this season is about unfinished business.

"Well one thing that we bring from last year is that we came up short, that we didn't feel that we fulfilled our goals at the end of the year and we came up short against a very good University of Michigan team and so we have to go back and evaluate what our shortcomings were and what could we have done better during the whole year and preseason to make sure that we don't allow that to happen to us again," Hamilton said.

The Noles open their 2018/19 campaign on November 6 at home against the University of Florida. FSU has won the last four games over the Gators.
