TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Leon Lions and Rickards Raiders; two teams at a crossroads.

Each team has a coach with the pieces in place.

"They're pretty good; they move the ball really well, they've got a good quarterback, a pretty good aggressive defense. We're going to have to play a good game," said Rickards head coach Quintin Lewis about facing Leon.

"They're very dangerous," said Lions head coach Garrett Jahn about the Raiders. "Offensively, I feel they've got three or four guys that can go 80 yards on you at any time and defensively, they've got a lot of speed."

Friday night sees a program no stranger to the mountain top against a program hoping they're ready to make the climb again.

"They're feeling themselves right now; we've got to do a good job of neutralizing what they do well and play well ourselves," Lewis said after Lone garnered their first victory since November of 2016 last week.

"If you can beat Rickards High School, you know you're doing something right in the city right now," Jahn said. "Since coach Lewis has been there, they've done such an amazing job."

Two schools, two teams. One city, one stadium.
