TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Heading into the season opener against Virginia Tech, Florida State fans were looking forward to an offensive explosion, but the FSU offensive fuse fizzled early.
Although the Seminoles did out gain the Hokies, FSU committed five turnovers.
And even when we saw the FSU offense begin to click, it seemed like a Virginia Tech defender would go down with cramps, and it happened several times; to the point where fans started to boo.
They thought it was intention.
Prior to Wednesday's practice, FSU head coach Willie Taggart said even he thought all of those cramps seemed...a little fishy.
"Yeah, that happened quite a bit. I mean, it is what it is; can't do anything about it, just got to line up and play the next play," Taggart said. "They make changes for everything else, I'm sure they'll come up with something at some point."
