TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Former Florida State football players Derwin James and Jalen Ramsey have been named to the AFC Pro Bowl, the NFL announced Tuesday.
James and Ramsey have also each been named starters in the game.
James, who is in his rookie year, is one of seven San Diego Chargers - the most represented team in the league - to be named to the AFC roster. Pro Football Focus rates James as the fourth-best safety in the league.
The middle Florida product has logged 93 tackles (66 solo) and three interceptions in 14 games in his rookie year.
Ramsey, in his third year with the Jacksonville Jaguars, has totaled 57 tackles, only three of which have been assisted take downs, and has three interceptions. This is Ramsey's second-straight year being named to the Pro Bowl.
PFF rates Ramsey as the #25 cornerback in the league with a 74.1 rating.
