TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Florida State midfielder Kaycie Tillman was selected with the final pick in the National Women's Soccer League Draft, going in the fourth round to the North Carolina Courage.

Tillman, a native of Rowlett, Texas, was selected with the 36th pick of the draft and was the only Seminole to be drafted.

The midfielder was one of just four players to see action in all 27 matches for the 'Noles in 2018, logging eight points (two goals, four assists) and one game-winning goal and a game winning assist against Penn State in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals.

Tillman was one of nine players from the ACC to get selected in the four-round draft.

The Courage are the defending NWSL champions, going 17-1-6 in 2018. The franchise moved to Cary, North Carolina after a successful stint in Western New York as the Flash, where they won the 2016 NWSL championship.

Also selected from the state of Florida was University of Florida's Kaylan Marckese by Sky Blue FC, based in New Jersey, with the 28th overall pick.
