TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Madison County quarterback and defensive back Travis Jay has announced he is closing his recruitment and will sign with Florida State during February's National Signing Day.
Jay made the announcement on Twitter Friday.
Jay, a consensus four-star prospect, gave his verbal commitment to FSU in March of 2018 but had visits planned to Florida and Tennessee.
The MCHS product was the biggest Noles commit to not ink his National Letter of Intent during December's early signing period.
247Sports ranks the Noles 2019 class, which has 15 signees after the early signing period, the second best class in the ACC and the #17 class in the country.
