TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Week three of fall camp continues for Florida State as preparations for the season opener against Virginia Tech heat up.
Bit by bit, the Noles have begun installing their game plan as they open with a Hokies team that won nine games a season ago.
FSU will have to instill their new offensive identity against a team that averaged just 14 points allowed per game in 2017, but has lost 11 pieces to that stifling corps since the end of last season due to the NFL Draft, academic ineligibility, injury or transfers.
On top of that, the Noles still don't know who the quarterback will be. But, whoever it is, offensive coordinator Walt Bell says they'll be prepared.
"We're starting to integrate a little bit of that daily," Bell said. "We've started to add a period or two at practice and then we'll start to, as we're watching what we do, kind of integrate what they do and how it'll fit versus those guys as well. So, just slowly but surely, everyday, just a little bit and obviously, as we get closer to game day, that'll increase."
