TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- One could say Florida A&M head coach Willie Simmons is an expert on the team his Rattlers will play this week, the Jackson State Tigers.
You could also say he as the Tigers' number. At Prairie View A&M, Simmons went 3-0 against Jackson State, winning each game by at least two touchdowns.
That was then. But, Simmons still feels he has an advantage over the Tigers, thanks in part to his coaching staff.
"I think our familiarity with what their identity is, what the players look like will help the coaches," he said. "Maybe not the players so much, but it may be able to give us an advantage in scheming because we do have a general understanding of the personnel that they have because we've faced them over the last few years."
