TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- In what quickly became a blockbuster day around the NFL, former Florida State cornerback Ronald Darby was traded from the Buffalo Bills to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Darby, a second-round draft pick of the Bills in the 2015 NFL Draft, started 14 games for Buffalo last year, recording 60 tackles and assisting on nine more.

In three years at FSU, Darby recorded 78 total tackles and logged two interceptions - both coming in 2013.

With Darby heading to Philadelphia, the Eagles sent the Bills wide receiver Jordan Matthews.

The Eagles first game with Darby on the roster will be Thursday, August 17, when the Bills come to town for the second preseason game for both squads.
