TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Senior running back Amir Rasul and senior tight end Naseir Upshur are no longer with the football program, according to the Florida State athletics department.

Noles247 reported both players entered their names into the NCAA's transfer portal last month and are no longer with the team. Warchant has reported neither player is on FSU's campus.

Rasul totaled 244 yards yards on 49 carries and a touchdown in three seasons with the Seminoles, logging a career high 152 yards on 33 touches as a sophomore in 2017. Rasul's departure leaves just three scholarship running backs on the roster for FSU in Cam Akers, Khalan Laborn and Anthony Grant.

Upshur played in five games as a Seminole, totaling four catches for 53 yards.

It has not yet been reported where either player will transfer to finish their collegiate careers.
