TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Florida State Seminoles have cracked the Top 10 in the Associated Press' Top 25 men's basketball poll.
FSU sits at number 10 in the latest poll, released Monday afternoon, after a 2-0 week with wins over Troy and a neutral site victory over UConn.
The Seminoles are Top 10 in the AP poll for the first time since being ranked #6 in the 11th week of the 2016/17 season. FSU finished with a 26-9 overall record after falling in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to Xavier.
FSU's lone loss came against Villanova over Thanksgiving weekend, who are ranked #17 in the latest rankings.
The Seminoles are the third highest-ranked ACC team, with #2 Duke and #6 Virginia, each having also received first place votes, above them.
North Carolina (#12), Virginia Tech (#13) and Syracuse (T-#25) also represent the ACC this week.
As the case has been all season, the Noles are the Sunshine State's lone representative in the Top 25. The Florida Gators were the only other team from the state to receive votes.
The Noles' next game comes against Southeast Missouri on December 17 at the Donald L. Tucker Center.
