TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- It's slated to be a fun Saturday night on the Highest of the Seven Hills.

Florida A&M begins their 2018 season, the first under head coach Willie Simmons, against Fort Valley State.

The last time the Rattlers and Wildcats met, FAMU won a six-point affair back in 2010.

And although the 'Cats are a Division II opponent, they won five games last season and, according to Simmons, are a team the Rattlers can't take lightly.

"I think they're coming in thinking they've got a chance to win the game," Simmons said. "Our guys have to understand that and be prepared to play a 60 minute, tough, physical football game; execute at a high level, don't beat ourselves and if we do that, then it gives us the best chance to be successful."
