Tallahassee Soccer Club announces team's first signing

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The upstart Tallahassee Soccer Club has announced its first signing in club history.

TLH SC introduced Jacob Schmoker as their first-ever signee.

Schmoker's previous playing stops include Oral Roberts, the Colorado Rapids U-23 club and the Des Moines Menace of the USL. He also played under a trial run with MLS' Sporting Kansas City.

Schmoker currently coaches with Florida Elite and will continue to assist as he plays for TLH SC.

TLH SC will play their inaugural season in 2019 as part of the Gulf Coast Premier League. A full schedule has not yet been released, but the team will open their first year on May 4 against the Savannah Clovers.
