TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Fall camp is now in the books for the Florida State Seminoles as they begin preparations for their season opener against Virginia Tech.

For television purposes, ESPN put the Noles and Hokies all alone on Monday night as the rest of the college football season, or rather a majority of it, begins on Saturday.

The game should be a hit with national audiences, but Virginia Tech head coach Justin Fuente has made it clear he's not a fan.

"If I was picking, I would probably not choose that, but I also kind of get it.," he said. "I kind of understand why there may be in the future some more early season conference games."

Fuente's comments indirectly mention the ACC Network, which begins their partnership with ESPN next year.
