TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- A short week of rest usually hurts most teams; you're battered, sore and have less time to prepare for your opponent.
But, for Willie Taggart and the Florida State Seminoles, it's just what the doctor ordered.
Taggart said it himself earlier in the week; coming off an embarrassing loss to Virginia Tech, FSU is already just two days away from their next game, when they'll face the Samford Bulldogs on Saturday.
FSU's new head coach says he hopes to see vast improvement from week one to week two.
"I think every game you go out, you're always evaluating where you're at and how you can get better," he said. "I think, again, from game one to game two, you make the most improvements and we're looking for our guys to go out and improve dramatically."
