TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- In just under three weeks, the Florida State men's basketball team will be back on the hardwood.

But for guard Trent Forrest, his mind isn't on basketball. It's on his family in his hometown of Chipley.

Wednesday, Forrest said his home survived the storm unscathed, but their family friends weren't so lucky.

"Some of my friends, they lost their houses and they have nothing. Even now, there's people that I know from Panama City that are staying with my mom, so it's definitely sad and I'm just thankful that we are able to still have a house," he said.
