So they're calling the swirly mass of clouds and showers off the Mid Atlantic Coast a Tropical Depression now. As of 11am, I guess we're officially underway with this year's season (be it a few days early).
Winds with the system are about 35 miles per hour, it is forecast to strengthen and could become TROPICAL STORM ANA within the next 24 hours.
It's forecast track should take it AWAY from the US and into colder Atlantic waters where it will fizzle out. Most likely it's a non-issue for much of the US, maybe making things a little breezy and unsettled to our north. But it is a great reminder that the season is almost here and we need to be on top of it!
